Um dia de joão is a show with two different versions, the first version is made for arenas, stages or closed spaces, and the second is a retelling of the first version, created for open spaces such as streets, parks and squares.

Besides having a shorter duration and a different infrastructure requirement than its stage version, Um dia de João – street version is more than an adaptation of the first version, it presents significant changes in the narrative, in scenic atmosphere and mostly in relation with the spectator. The street version of the show was created and perfected during a season in the streets of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The result was the construction of an autonomous spectacle from its original version, worked to exploit the power and fit the characteristics of open and public spaces.
