Um dia de João is the first show of Circo no Ato, wich premier in Crescer e Viver canvas in august of 2012, making it’s first season. Since then, the show has been presented more than 70 times, having circulated in about 23 neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro and in nine cities of Brasil.

In 2013 and 2014 Um dia de João has been presented in events like the 6º Festival Paulista de Circo, em Piracicaba, São Paulo, o 2º Festival Internacional de Circo do Rio de Janeiro, o 7º Festival de Circo de Campo Mourão, Paraná, o Festival de Teatro de Queimados, na Baixada Fluminense, a 1ª Feira de Arte Urbana – Fau, na Lapa, o Conexões Culturais na Cidade de Deus, Rio de Janeiro e o aniversário de 50 anos de Celso Athayde, na sede da Cufa, Favela do Sapo.

The show integrated the 2014 edition of Circo Volante, a project from Crescer e Viver, sponsored by Petrobras and The Secretary of Culture of the Estate of Rio de Janeiro, that brings a circus tent with contemporary shows to the cities of the interior of the state. With the project we visit the cities of Cardoso Moreira, Itaocara, Bom Jardim, Rio das Ostras, Vassouras e Paraty.

With a scene from Um dia de João, “A Feira”, the Circo no Ato was the winner of the competitive circus show of FIL – Festival Interchange of languages, in 2013. And, in 2014, held the trusteeship and production of this show.
