The Circo no Ato is a collective of circus performers constituted during the formation process at the School of Social Circus of Crescer e Viver. Among the activities that the Circo no Ato performs are : the creation and circulation of circus shows, artistic interventions in events, workshops of the different circus techniques and the development of a social circus project, the Circo no Ato Social.

The group consists of 13 people and features a variety of cultural baggage. In addition to the common circus graduation, there are also those with degrees in other areas, such as: dance, music, journalism, theater directing, economics, social work and theater.

The Circo no Ato aims to contribute to the strengthening and dissemination of contemporary circus language through the enjoyment of its ​​spectacles and it’s other artistic performances. It also seeks to promote the creation of networks and means of production to the consolidation and permanence of group work. And , through the Circo no Ato Social brings an social integration based on the principles of solidarity and cooperation using the circus as a symbolic tool for social transformation.

Vision

“To be a reference in the artistic production of circus shows, assembling at least one show per year and beeing constantly circulating with repertoire shows in all the national territory. To establish other aereas of constant activity, like in participating ang organizing events and the realization of regular circus classes”
