The Circo no Ato Social is a program of free workshops taught by the artists of Circo no Ato for the young residents of Cerro Cora community, in Cosme Velho, South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. It is a joint initiative of UPP Social – Pacifist Polici Unity social program, with institutional support from Crescer e Viver.

The program has been running since March 20, 2014, attending young people between 7 and 21 years, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 14h30 to 17h30, for classes of circus modalities in the community sport stage. the Activities includes ground acrobatics, group acrobatics, handstand, juggling, stilt and unicycle. In addition to workshops in other artistic languages ​​with guests professionals.

The Circo no Ato Social aims to further promote education and discussion of values ​​present in the circus environment and our society as a whole. Because we are a group born in an institution of Social Circus, replicating the methodology is a natural way, we believe in the power of social transformation of the circus art.

 
Subscriptions

Can sign up for the workshops children and young people between 7 and 21 years. Entries are made ​​on the Cerro Cora Community sport stage in class schedules, minors must be accompanied by an adult. To make the registration the following documentation is required :
